From clay to cup
- Clay — iron-rich local clay is aged for months.
- Throwing — each piece is thrown on the wheel and trimmed by hand.
- Bisque firing — a first low firing hardens the body.
- Glazing — natural mineral glaze is applied by dipping.
- High firing — the kiln reaches about 1300°C; iron crystals form the pattern.
- Selection — only pieces with a clean form and a lively glaze are kept.
